PSL 2027 Players List: What Can Still Change in the PSL 12 Squads?
Four things will shape the final PSL 2027 players list:
- Retained players and releases: teams may let some 2026 players go to free up purse money.
- Replacements: injured or unavailable players can be replaced during the season.
- The trade window: players can move between franchises before the auction.
- The PSL 2027 auction: released players and new names will be sold to fill the gaps. See our PSL 2027 auction page.
- The IPL clash: overseas players with IPL contracts will not be available, and international duty can also affect availability.
Will Mohammad Amir Play PSL 2027?
Mohammad Amir was signed by Rawalpindiz for PSL 2026. Since players bought in 2026 were given two-year contracts, he can play PSL 2027 unless Rawalpindiz release him, trade him, or he chooses not to take part. There is no official update on his PSL 2027 status yet.
